This page describes the first-release data model. Replace the placeholders and have the final notice reviewed before collecting real customer orders.
What we collect
When you start a purchase, we receive the name and email address you enter so the payment provider can process the checkout and the archive can connect the payment to a download. We store order status, product, amount, license version, and minimal delivery history. We do not store card numbers.
Why we use it
We use order information to deliver the purchased file, answer support requests, prevent duplicate or abusive downloads, handle refunds, and keep a business record. Optional interest-list signups are used only for archive announcements and must include an unsubscribe path before launch.
Service providers
Dodo Payments processes checkout and payment information. Cloudflare hosts the storefront, API, database, and private file storage. Their processing terms and the final seller identity should be linked here before launch.
Retention and requests
Define the retention periods for orders, rights evidence, security logs, and mailing-list records. Add the seller’s legal identity, contact address, deletion/access request process, cookie notice, and governing law before launch.
